Ross Environmental Associates, Inc. (R.E.A.) is a local company with offices in Stowe and Newport that is dedicated to providing quality environmental consulting services to a variety of clients, both large and small, throughout Vermont and Northern New Hampshire. R.E.A. consists of a dedicated staff of professionals including: Licensed Professional Hydrogeologist, Registered Professional Engineer (VT & NH), GIS Planners, Geologists, and Environmental Scientists; all with extensive knowledge pertaining to Environmental Site Assessments, Due Diligence, Geographic Information Systems, Remediation Projects and a variety of Engineering Services. R.E.A. has an excellent working relationship with many community organizations, local lending institutions, the VT Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and the NH Department of Environmental Services (DES).
R.E.A. prides itself on our ability to balance the interests of regulatory agencies, municipalities and private property owners by explaining statutory and regulatory requirements to our private and municipal clients, and working with all parties to explain contamination issues and remediation options that are scientifically proven and cost effective. R.E.A.’s primary goal is to provide our clients with superior quality environmental consulting services, which are scientifically and legally defensible, responsive, and cost effective. We are committed to developing long-term business relationships with our clients by reducing our client’s environmental liabilities. R.E.A. stresses the importance of communication, documentation, efficiency, and timeliness for all facets of any investigation from field work to submittal of reports.
R.E.A. was founded by Bob Ross in 1999 after working in the industry for over 15 years in Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Bob received some of his initial training at several high profile “Superfund” sites in New England including: Wells G & H (Woburn, MA - of Civil Action fame), Auburn Road Landfill (Londonderry, NH), Tinkham Garage (Londonderry, NH), Industri-Plex (No. Woburn, MA), Baird & Mcguire (Holbrook, MA), Darling Hill Dump (Lyndonville, VT), Old Springfield Landfill (Springfield, VT), Pownal Tannery (No. Pownal, VT) and the Pine Street Barge Canal (Burlington, VT). Over the past few years, R.E.A. has progressively added additional services to become one of the few full service environmental consulting companies serving Vermont and Northern New Hampshire. |
